Laws vary by region when determining if an employee is required to take PTO when caring for a family member with COVID-19.
It is our policy to grant two weeks of paid time off for employees in this situation. This will not count towards the employee's PTO attainment.
PROCESS:
- Create a task for the employee's manager using the COVID Family Leave Template
- Notify the HRR or requesting employee of the company policy using the COVID Family Care Macro
- This macro will respond to the submitting employee
- Reassign the request to the PTO support group
